Last night, Godly Sex?, was the title of our study. We really tried to keep the discussion 'G' rated. I really question the benefit of sharing openly what should be kept Private. But, with this topic, there will unavoidably be a few blushes. We did have some great laughs...it was a blast!
Godly Sex? I Know, sounds like an oxymoron. But, really it is not. Remember God did create us. And sex was not an accident.
I think the biggest take away was that 'Great sex' is multidimensional. It is not just physical. It is also spiritual and emotional. On the spiritual dimension, sex honors God when we keep sex within the bounds of marriage and seek to please our partner more than our own self-gratification. Sex was never meant to be a selfish act.

I am ashamed that I didn't know about your blog until just a few hours ago. I enjoyed going back and reading all the past blogs from day one in November. I can see where you have developed over the months as a blogger.
I want to be one of the first to comment on your site. I guess I could have commented on a few other less eye-catching blogs, but this one is one that will get more attention than most, plus I have had the privilege of reading one of the best books out there on this subject that I just have to recommend. No one will regret picking this book up, it is a plethora of relevant and wise teaching on GODLY SEX.
For me personally it was one of those God transforming studies. The book is called "Sex and the Supremacy of Christ" Edited by John Piper and Justin Taylor. It is based on the theme and teaching from the 2004 Desiring God National Conference.
